Our Key West location is just outside Marathon Heading towards Keywest after you cross over the 7 mile bridge. This is a beautiful location which runs right next to a nature preserve. In fact your always in clear shallow waters and within 15 feet of the coastline on the whole tour.
As we paddle along the mangrove shorelines we’ll sometimes run into seabirds in the shallow flats and in the mangrove trees themselves. Pelicans sometimes rest in the mangrove trees as well after a long day of hunting fish.
As far as sea-life we’ll sometimes see a passing Dolphin or Manatee as we paddle the tour route. As our high powered custom lights illuminate the shallow seafloor and seagrass we’ll look for stone crabs and hermit crabs along with various conch shells. Sometimes we’ll catch glimpse of a stingray or small nurse sharks as they hunt for crustaceans. Mullet which is a vegetarian fish and runs in large schools are commonly seen along the mangrove shorelines as well. Some of the predatory fish we may run into our mangrove snappers, snook and the occasional Tarpon. One of the highlights of the tour is feeding the fish in the area which every one loves. Come joins us for a magical night under the stars which you’ll never forget.
