The Ken Thompson Boat Ramp
1700 Ken Thompson Pkwy, Sarasota, FL 34236
LOOK AT THE IMAGES – After you pass the large boat storage and Salty Dog Restaurant on the left, take the next right turn at the blue building 1703 Ken Thompson Pkwy, then drive about 150 yards until it dead-ends onto a grass lot. You’ll see 3 boat ramps on the left. Look for yellow and green kayaks that say Sharkey’s with a truck attached to a trailer.
WEIGHT LIMIT FOR KAYAKS!!
For safety, we use double-seated kayaks with a max weight limit of 385 lbs per kayak (combined weight of both riders). We also have a height limit of 6’5″ per person.
Please let us know ASAP if riding together in a double-seated kayak is no problem or if you will need single-seated kayaks.
